Ways to give

  • Monetary Gifts

    You may make your cash gift online on our website by using your credit or debit card or mail your check made payable to Lacordaire Academy. Consider a monthly gift!

  • Tribute Gifts

    Your gift can be made in memory or in honor of someone. It is a great way to commemorate a special occasion, such as birthdays, weddings, or holidays. Please include a note with your contribution, including the name/address of anyone we should notify of this thoughtful tribute. The amount contributed will not be included when notifying the recipient.

  • Planned Giving

    Making a planned gift is another way to support Lacordaire. A bequest from a will or trust can benefit the school you love. Your assets remain yours during your lifetime.

  • Beneficiary Designations

    Do you have a life insurance policy or retirement account your family doesn’t need anymore? Consider making Lacordaire a beneficiary.

  • IRA Distributions

    Are you required to take a minimum distribution from your IRA?  If you don’t need it or want it to affect your income, you can donate the distribution directly to Lacordaire Academy and even save money on your taxes. Speak with your financial advisor on how to make this happen.

  • Matching Gifts

    Your gift to Lacordaire could be matched dollar for dollar by your employer. Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and/or employees’ spouses. Start by making your gift today and then contact your HR office for the procedures on how to apply a matching gift to a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit.

  • Stock Gifts

    You can transfer stock to Lacordaire. Donate appreciated stock and you may avoid paying capital gains tax.

  • Tuition Angel

    Would you like to help an Upper School student?  Become a Tuition Angel. You can designate your gift to fund a scholarship. Contact the Advancement Office for more information.

  • Volunteer

    Give to Lacordaire in a big way by becoming a volunteer.  Your time, talent and expertise are invaluable.

  • Why doesn’t tuition cover all of the education cost?

    In keeping with our founders’ vision, we believe that a Lacordairea education should be accessible to as many families as possible. This means maintaining an affordable tuition level. The gap between tuition and the cost to educate each student is funded, in part, by your donation to the Annual Fund.

  • Who gives to the Annual Fund?

    Parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, friends, and foundations

  • How is my Annual Fund gift used?

    Your gift is used for school programming, updates to classrooms and facilities, technology upgrades, professional development for faculty & staff, general maintenance, and more!

  • How much should I donate?

    Please know that every gift, no matter how big or small, makes a difference in the lives of our students and faculty. You may donate any amount that feels right for you and your family.

  • I cannot make a donation at this time. Are there other ways that I can make an impact?
